How I'm going to research…Allergies
Begin by defining the word allergy.
Take several surveys asking people about what allergies they have. Taking down age range, gender, whether its generic or not, whether they take any medication for it and if so what.
Posting up questionnaires online and giving to friends and relatives to complete. By doing so gaining facts about the topic.
Questions posted will be as follows:
- What allergies do you have?
- What are the symptoms?
- How long does the reaction/s last?
- Is the allergy/s permanent or temporary?
- What helps?
- What medication do/can you take?
- How long have you had the allergy/s
- Is it genetic?
- If yes, which family relation suffers the same allergy?
- What do you have to avoid the allergic reaction?
Organising research into graphs, tables, charts and tallies.
Going onto the NHS website and seeing what help is offered regarding allergies. And possibly some opinions.
Finding a list of minor and major allergies.
Interviewing people asking about allergies they have - Asking wether they have any, and if so, asking for details about their particular allergy and how they cope and deal with it.
Research being conducted into allergies.
Collecting primary and secondary images of allergic reactions
Finding facts about related allergies and genetically related allergies work, as such.
Medication used to help with particular allergies.
