Good is...? - Metallic Embossing

After looking at and buying all the equipment for the process, I've applied it to my finalised design and feel it works really well! It gives it something special, a nice touch to the aesthetics of the products. Using it on several of the products adds another level on consistency too. This method of print finish was appropriate due to the application of the embossing powder. I was able to use a very thin pen to add the powder, meaning I could have very detailed metallic embossing.

Good is...? - Exploring embossing

I have pre-mentioned that i have wanted to explore the printing finish of blind embossing. Using a stencil, and specialist crafting equipment I was able to produce embossing which would be suitable on my products.
Through doing so I found that I would have to use a think substrate (anything above 100 would be suitable) to stop it from piercing it.

Its a really nice touch and concept I could add to my products.
