Top ten things - Title sequence - Adaptions to transitions
After looking at my title sequence, I realised how awful some of my transitions were, so I decided to work on them as best as I could.
Below: I've sped up the speed of the scaling and positioning from moving from the table to the window. Before I'd made this change, it took far too long to fade and move, thus, didn't flow.
Transition between 3rd and 4th ident below:
Previously the transition had been very 'sketchy' and seem to shake into position. I've altered this to be as smooth as I can, also not as smooth as I would like it, I feel its the best I can do.

Transition between ident 1 and 2:
I have sped up the time it takes for the fading in and out of the scenery. Previously it was possibly four times as long; it wasn't smooth between frames.
I had to be quite creative in making this transition work, I could think of a way to do it. SO it was suggest by a peer I used the image of the bar, within the window, to zoom into. It took a while to achieve, due to not labelling or saving my composition correctly, but I got there in the end. Quite proud of it, I must say, how ever simple it looks.
Full title sequence, all alterations made, finalised with an ending. I have yet to play around with the audio as its not quite right yet.
Changes to music:
I've managed to fade the audio pieces softer within this piece, as previously its was very misjointed. I've also changed the audio choice within this piece, deleting some and extending others, feeling it more appropriate to my title sequence.

I thought the ending would be best to focus on the channel, date and time. So I decided on a very simple animation, one relating closely to BBC one idents; There are several which take a circular form in the direction of design.

Top ten things - Title sequence so far
Since my last post, I've added my last few idents to the sequence, altered a few transitions and began designing the last few seconds. I'm having trouble with transitions, some flow others don't. I'm beginning to get frustrated with it, so will see Lorraine at some point to see if she can point me in the right direction.
I've also forgotten to add the music half way through the title sequence, so that will need doing!

I wasn't 100% happy with the transitions between sequences, so I made a few alterations to make them smoother. I also changed the timing of certain area's quickening some. I have yet to produce the remaining 25 seconds.

Top ten things - Title sequence so far

Looking at transitions:
As I'm combining my idents, I needed to end each short, to cut out the dates, times and title and instead create a transition between each. I knew this was going to be difficult as each is every different from the next. I have had to use very simple facings and transition edits to make them smooth and believable. I have yet to replace the missing music in the 2nd ident.

Top ten things - Title sequence so far
Just getting a start on making the title sequence. I intend on using my idents to make the bulk of it, as it saves me time, and will look effective, relevant and consistent. The transition between the two visually works, but I need to edit the timing, its that bit too slow.
I have found file organisation a real issue, to the extent my computer crashes due to the amount of 'stuff' I have going on when opening my files. I'm slowly trying to get my head around it, but am finding it very difficult.
