Me and Sarah had discussed our want to do the event, but after the module submission so we have decided to do it early next year, before the FMP really comes into play. The lady at the gallery suggested the date of January the 3rd for installation, to arrive at 9am and spend a few hours setting up, then either the 8th or 9th as the official opening night starting at about 6pm.
We asked about the actual space in regard to hanging and presenting thngs. It was suggested we used Velcro tabs and bulldog clips as they don't really want people nailing things into the walls. The space itself is brilliant and in itself has an atmosphere. It will be a nice way of coming into the new year, getting everyone together for the year ahead.
Equipment which is available consists on a projector , which we could use to present the submissions, and several televisions which have the ability to slideshow Jpeg images.
