What if...Organising research

Primary - Information or date collected in certain way which hasn't been done before.

Secondary - Research already been done before, which has been recorded for a purpose other than the current study.

Quantitative - Specific facts, measures and figured which can be analysed. It can be gathered from many sources but it is the interpretation manipulation and relationships of this data which is important. It relies on surveys, questionnaires etc

Qualitative - This is used to help us gain an understanding of how people feel and why they do what they do. It concerns asking specific questions, interviews or group discussions; the most common methods. Investigates the why and how of decision making. Not statistical but gives account of a real life study.
