How to..? Start designing!

We each decided that we were going to put our work within the public de main by using them within the student protest which will be held within a few days (before the brief deadline). We decided posters, flyers and banners were the most appropriate medium to use and have within and in relation to the protest. We felt the best way to approach this was, to each go away for a few hours, get designing, and bring our idea's back together to combine our efforts to create our final pieces to print. I decided to start designing the flyer, the content of which I used from research - A mind map created on the effects of the rising of student fee's.
The tone of voice - as stated within my possible outcomes, was to be down to earth and gritty, giving a real personal edge to it.
