I have always been writing 'to do' lists but I think having a little book dedicated to them really kept me motivated to write, and do everything on the lists created. It's defiantly something I will take into the second year!

I found these really useful for this module too, I write down things the module expects, for instance 'research %30' to remind me of the module brief, as its one of those things I tend to forget.
